At the helm of the #1 Direct Selling Brand of Skin Care and Color Cosmetics in the world with nearly 1,500 product patents, hundreds of products in its portfolio, and thousands of employees globally, Ryan is staying true to the company’s mission of enriching women’s lives by igniting the next generation of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants and consumers to fall in love with the Opportunity and the brand.

Since his 2023 appointment as CEO of the family-owned company, Ryan has spearheaded multiple expansions into new markets in Europe and Central Asia, following his commitment to grow Mary Kay’s footprint, empowering women to pursue their dreams of owning small businesses anywhere in the world. He is a member of the beauty company’s Board of Directors and the grandson of Mary Kay Inc. founder, Mary Kay Ash – one of America’s greatest entrepreneurs.

Ryan joined Mary Kay Inc. in 2000 as a Financial Analyst and held several positions including Project Manager, Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In 2013, he assumed the title of Chief Investment Officer.

Since 2001, Ryan has served as Vice President of the Mary Kay Ash Foundation® Board of Directors. The Foundation was created in 1996 by his grandmother with a two-fold mission to find cures for women-related cancers and end domestic violence. Since 1996, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation® has contributed nearly $100 million to domestic violence shelters and cancer research programs and services throughout the United States, and globally.

Prior to joining Mary Kay Inc., Ryan was an associate in the Transaction Services Group of PwC in Dallas.

Ryan and his wife, Maleiah, live in Dallas with their daughter, Everlee.
